There is some female nudity, but it's usually just a quick shot. Also Goku can't tell the difference between a boy and a girl, so he pats their private part to verify. This is only in the first season if I rememher correctly. For violence, it's usually not to bad. There is some blood but not too much. The main character is a very positive influence as he is nice to everyone.

The language they use is just crap, damn, shit, and hell. The dub does clean up some of the suggestive dialogue but no scenes are cut. If you're kid wants to watch this show, I suggest you watch it first and decide for yourself. Kids would love it but it has some nudity Dragon Ball is a show that kids watched back in the 80s and 90s being a top Anime for television. Apparently when it aired on Nickelodeon all the nudity was cut out. However if kids are going to be watching it on the DVD version where everything is left uncut they should be a little older, because there are some scenes of the female character, Bulma, being shown naked on screen or just in an awkward sexually related moment here and there.
